The 4-Day workshop provide a solid basis for understanding the growth of animal cells in culture. The course also covers the use serum-containing and serum-free media  and cell cloning.  This content is not available in the 3-day cell culture workshop.

 

NEW 3-Day Real-Time PCR Workshop

This workshop is for those with some PCR experience and is designed to give participants an overview of real-time PCR.

 

3-Day Introduction to Molecular Biology (Recombinant DNA) Workshop

  • March 29-31, 2010
  • September 29-Oct 1, 2010

This 3-day workshop is designed for those with little or no experience in molecular biology.

 

3-Day Introduction to Protein Expression

  • April 14-16, 2010
  • October 13-15, 2010

This 3-day workshop will provide an overview of recombinant protein technology, recombinant protein system and vector choices, and prokaryotic expression.

 

3-Day Introduction to PCR

  • October 21-23, 2009
  • April 26-28, 2010
  • October 27-29, 2010

This is an introductory-level workshop. It is suitable for those with little experience in molecular biology although some knowledge is advisable. No experience with PCR is needed.

 

3-Day Introduction to Cell Culture

    The 3-Day workshop provides a basic understanding of the growth and routine manipulations needed to successfully grow, cryopreserve and crypthaw animal cells in culture.

     

    NEW 5-Day Recombinant Baculovirus Techniques

      This 5-day workshop is great for those wanting to express recombinant protein in the baculovirus expression vector (BEV) system. This class costs $2,400. Call for dates and details.
